Brown Rice

A friend shared this recipe with me when I was in junior high. It became a standard in my home growing up and an inexpensive meal when there was more month than money. We added dehydrated peas and carrots and ate it as a main dish many nights. I love the buttery taste the rice. I believe my friend's family served this rice with chicken.
Brown Rice

Ingredients
2 cups
rice
4 cups
boiling water
1/2 cup
butter
2 tablespoons
beef bullion
4 teaspoons
parsley flakes
1/2 cup
onion, minced
Instructions
Add all ingredients to a casserole dish. Cover and bake at 350* for 45 minutes.
